Original Watercolour Paintings of Scotland
The bridge which features in The Maltings, Haddington and its neighbouring Nungate Bridge over the River Tyne in East Lothian together with Old Tweed Bridge, Selkirkshire contrast sharply with the relatively new Skye Bridge which links mainland Scotland with the Isle of Skye.
The much acclaimed mountain scenery of Scotland is featured in compositions such as Highland House by the Loch and Leaving Loch Nevis in Inverness-shire complemented by Bun Abhiann Eadarra, Isle of Harris; The Cuillins and Sheltered Cove,Isle of Skye and Glen Sannox, Isle of Arran.
Castle Tioram, Moidart, is representative of one of the country's oldest castles, while the two compositions of Selkirk in the Borders, Selkirk from the Station Road and Selkirk from the Stane Brig show some interesting buildings from a by-gone era.
The North-East is represented by Banffshire Coastal Village and Cottages in Pennan, Banffshire. The watercolour entitled Boatman, Unst, Shetland completes this section.
